Interview with Gareth Davies, Syngenta.

“There’s a huge potential out there. So how can we engage with smallholders. how can we coordinate them, how can we aggregate them, how can we provide them with the technology, the training, the tools, to improve their productivity? That fundamentally is at the heart of our business now.”

Over the next weeks we will be publishing a series of video interviews held during the Seas of Change workshop in Amsterdam this februari.

Kicking off is Gareth Davies, food security agenda manager for Syngenta. He talked to us about why and how Syngenta embraces smallholder agriculture, the way knowledge about inclusive business innovation is being shared within the company and more.
